Local Chic: Vince Store Opening

Last week I went to the store opening of Vince in Chicago. The event was sponsored by Patron a personal favorite of mine and included a open bar with Patron drinks. The fun did not stop with the drinks as DJ lessons were offered on site. Walking in to the event it was clear that the store was packed and all abuzz with good music, drinks and fashion. The Vince store is located on the uber chic Chicago Oak Street shopping row. If you like clothes that are simple and effortless and your willing to drop $300 plus on a sweater then this is the store for you. :)

Sneaks: Sneaker Pimps Chicago

So last night I went to the Chicago leg of the Sneaker pimps tour, which feature custom,rare sneakers and good hip hop music. The event was held at Logan Square Auditorium which was a great venue to get intimate performances from the night's featured artist Mikkey Halseted, GLC and Raekwon. The tour also allowed sneaker fiends to buy, trade and sell sneakers. Take a look at some of the flicks from last night festivities. BTW I had a blast and would do it again.

Chicago Beats: The Vibe/Uptown Magazine Grey Goose Rising Icon Event Featuring Laura Izibor

Last week I attended the Grey Goose Rising Icon event for Laura Izibor sponsored by Vibe and Uptown magazine. The event was held in Chicago at the Lake Shore Drive W in the Altitude room. Around 9:30 Laura Izibor put on a show and she sounded great I especially love her song "From My Heart To Yours". I had a blast at the event as it provided good drink, food and even better music.
