So during autumn/winter 2009 fashion week Kanye West's girlfriend Amber was spotted in a fabulous Alexander Wang dress at the Givenchy show. This week while completing my weekly tradition of browsing the Topshop website I came across a stunning look-a-like of the Alexander Wang design. The Topshop dress retails for a reasonable $90.00.

After initially having my interest peaked about Wu's designs on the internet I put his name in my sidekick notes so that I could remember to research more about him later. After completing my fashion homework on Wu he became a quick designer fave. Jason Wu's clients include Michelle Obama, Diane Kruger, Leighton Meester and Kerry Washington. Every blue moon I find the rare jewel of something that speaks to the total essence of me and what I stand for so the planets must have aligned when I stumbled across Amanda Diva's youtube channel for DivaSpeakTV. Amanda Divas show is like a mix of The Soup, Rap City The Basement and The Rachel Maddow Show, addressing all that's important in hip hop, humor, civic and social consciousness. If Amanda Diva looks familiar to all you 80's 90's kids its because Amanda diva played a wise cracking tiny diva on Nickelodeon show My Brother and Me and was also a VJ on MTV2 for a long time.
